Day 1: Switzerland – Livorno
Journey to Tuscany, to Livorno, and embarkation on a ferry to Olbia. (Overnight on board).
Day 2: Sella & Mosca - Alghero
Disembarkation and drive to the Sella & Mosca winery, which is known for its native grape varieties and is regarded as an absolute pioneer of Sardinian viticulture. Afterwards, lunch in Alghero and a guided walking tour of the town. The former Catalan enclave delights with a picturesque old town, an imposing town wall and an architectural mix of cultures. (4 nights at the Gabbiano Azzuro Hotel & Suites****).
Day 3: Cannonau and Su Gologone
After the velvety, full-bodied nuances of an exclusive Cannonau tasting at the family-run Iolei Winery, the day culminates in a traditional Sardinian lunch on the picturesque terrace of the Su Gologone Experience Hotel.
Day 4: Gallura
Voyage of discovery through Gallura with its bizarre karst mountains and countless cork oaks. Tasting at the Siddura winery, followed by a visit to a cork processing facility in Calangianus. Shared gourmet dinner in a 1-star Michelin restaurant.
Day 5: Murals - Shepherd's Meal
Today you gain valuable insights into Sardinian culture. In the bandit village of Orgosolo, enjoy a guided tour of the impressive murals (wall paintings). At lunchtime, a traditional shepherd's meal with regional specialities awaits you.
Day 6: La Maddalena Archipelago
A heavenly finale awaits you in the Maddalena archipelago: on board a private boat, enjoy the azure sea with fine rosé or spumante and delicate canapés. Let yourself be enchanted by a touch of the Caribbean – with reddish granite rocks, green maquis and hidden white sandy beaches. In the evening, you board the ferry in Olbia.
Day 7: Livorno - Switzerland
Disembarkation and journey home.
