Car Rouge is one of the few coach companies that is a member of the statutory Guarantee Fund of the Swiss Travel Industry. The money paid for your tour is 100% protected there. Car Rouge thus meets all the provisions of the Swiss Package Travel Act. Travel companies bearing the Travel Guarantee logo guarantee you, the customer:
- Professional working practices
- A sound financial basis and valid liability insurance
- Protection of the travel money you have paid
- Return journey in the event of a travel company’s insolvency
You can therefore pay the invoice amount for your tour with peace of mind. The money paid is 100% protected. Should an organiser become insolvent during your holiday, the Guarantee Fund will arrange your journey home. Car Rouge has been a member of the Guarantee Fund of the Swiss Travel Industry since its foundation. The Guarantee Fund was established by the Swiss Travel Association SRV as an independent foundation. All of Switzerland’s major tour operators, such as Kuoni, Hotelplan and Imholz, are also members. The foundation board consists of seven representatives of travel companies of all sizes, sectors and regions of the country, as well as further advisers. Around 1,400 Swiss and Liechtenstein organisers or intermediaries of package tours participate in the Guarantee Fund. They meet the requirements set by the foundation in terms of expertise and solvency. At www.garantiefonds. ch you will find an up-to-date list of all participating travel agencies and tour operators.
