Travel with us, and the climate travels better too
Climate change is one of the greatest global challenges of our time. We are all affected by it and must contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
With a coach tour you are already well on your way. According to the latest studies, the coach is the most environmentally friendly means of travel of all (see graphic below).
At Car Rouge, climate protection goes even further. You can take responsibility for the CO₂ emissions of your round trip and make a climate protection contribution. The contribution is used by the myclimate foundation for various climate protection projects.
On car-rouge.ch you will find the corresponding offset contribution for every round trip. For the Cinque Terre tour, for example, it is CHF 6 per person.
Environmental management standard ISO 14001
Credible environmental protection is an integral part of our corporate culture, which is geared towards sustainability. The ISO 14001 standard defines globally valid criteria for efficient environmental management systems.
