The Byzantine mosaics of San Vitale in Ravenna are a unique cultural heritage of worldwide renown. In the city of Bologna, you will encounter a rich cultural legacy at every turn, shaped by its famous arcades and its historic university. At the Teatro Alighieri, which honours the author of the "Divina Commedia", the Ravenna Festival pays tribute to Mozart with three performances. The production is directed by the highly esteemed director Chiara Muti.

Day 1: Switzerland – Ravenna
Journey via Bologna to Ravenna. Your 4* hotel is located in the heart of the historic old town. Dinner at a carefully selected restaurant.
Day 2: Ravenna & Opera
On your walking tour of the city, you will see the most important monuments from the Gothic and Byzantine periods. Ravenna is world-famous above all for its ancient wall mosaics, which are the oldest still fully preserved. You will visit the Basilica of San Vitale, which art connoisseurs call the "Wonder of Ravenna". Free afternoon. In the evening, opera aperitif and performance.
Day 3: Day trip to Bologna & Opera
Bologna boasts one of the most beautiful and best-preserved old towns in Europe, with many medieval towers and around 40 km of arcades linking the sprawling city centre with its pedestrian zones, squares, churches and palaces. On a walking tour of the old university city, you will get to know its most important sights. Afterwards, enjoy some time to yourself in the city. Return to Ravenna. In the evening, opera aperitif and performance.
Day 4: Ravenna & Concert
The day is yours to spend as you wish until late afternoon. Enjoy the special atmosphere of Ravenna, stroll through the charming lanes or treat yourself in one of the cosy cafés. Mozart's moving "Requiem" is another musical highlight of your journey. To round off the trip in festive style, you will enjoy a group dinner at the Ristorante Marchesini, where you can look back on the wonderful impressions of the past few days in convivial company.
Day 5: Ravenna - Switzerland
Return journey to Switzerland.
