Baden-Baden - Berlin Philharmonic Jonathan Tetelman and Víkingur Ólafsson
The Berlin Philharmonic under Kirill Petrenko are guests in Baden-Baden with a spectacular programme: Ottorino Respighi's "Roman Trilogy", enlivened by verismo arias sung by Jonathan Tetelman. A further part of the programme features Brahms' monumental First Piano Concerto with the exceptional Icelandic pianist Víkingur Ólafsson, as well as Richard Strauss' "Also sprach Zarathustra".

Day 1: Baden-Baden & Concert
Journey to Baden-Baden. Beautifully situated at the foot of the Black Forest, this elegant, international spa and cultural city is a paradise for all who appreciate the finer things. You will have plenty of time for a stroll through the town centre. Dinner at the Aida restaurant in the Festspielhaus, followed by the performance.
Day 2: Baden-Baden & Concert
In the late morning, enjoy a guided tour of the casino. Founded by a shrewd French entrepreneur, immortalised by a brilliant Russian writer and loved by Marlene Dietrich, the Casino Baden-Baden looks back on a glittering past. On a guided tour you will discover the interior staged by Parisian interior designers, now complemented by new, stylish areas. Free time thereafter. Dinner at the Aida restaurant in the Festspielhaus, followed by the performance.
Day 3: Baden-Baden
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy one more leisurely stroll through the spa town before we set off southwards along the picturesque Black Forest High Road at around 11.30. You are booked in for lunch en route at the renowned Hotel Dollenberg.
